Our Company-an exciting, innovative, and dynamic energy focused organisation is now seeking to fill the post of Climate Action Energy Engineer for our Consulting Services Team. We are the leading provider of sustainable and energy efficient solutions to decarbonise heat for industrial and commercial clients. We have a history of sustained growth, and we have excellent opportunities for further significant expansion both in the UK, Ireland, and Europe. Working closely with the Technical & Commercial teams, you will be responsible for leading a team of advisory, technical and project management resources. The Consulting Services Unit represents a critical function within our business and comprises our traditional consultancy business working in collaboration with our technical team and integration with the EscoPod technology. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to shape and drive the ActionZero consulting services unit at a time and place of unique opportunity.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead, manage and develop the Consulting Services Unit

Lead, develop & execute feasibility studies for the EscoPod system.

Build and maintain strong relationships with current, past and new clients and other stakeholders

Collaborate with the Commercial Team to develop new opportunities

Management and provision of advisory consulting in relation to strategic decarbonisation across a number of key areas including heat, transport, renewable technologies, and energy management.

Development and management of the data analytics practice

Project Management - project development & management of energy efficiency and decarbonisation projects e.g. lighting, Heating & HVAC systems, renewable technologies, energy metering, EV charging, BMS Optimisation

Surveying & Auditing - conduct energy reviews/audits conforming to ISO 50001 & the EU EED of mechanical, electrical, controls & thermal systems

Responsibility for the energy risk management & green procurement unit

Carbon & Energy audit/strategy programs

Requirements:

Qualifications and experience in the fields of Mechanical, Energy, Electrical, Building Services, Process, or Facilities Engineering will be valuable.

You must have a positive and constructive approach to working with teams and be committed to generating value.

Strong Leadership abilities, with a mentoring approach to team building, training, and project leadership

Positive, honest, and constructive in dealings with the team, clients, and suppliers

Project Management & client facing experience

Analytical skills for evaluating information carefully and solving complex problems

Detail oriented

Experience working with various utility systems: water, steam, gas, and refrigeration

Excellent MS Office skills

Excellent communication skills

Preferably 5 years of experience in a similar role

Willingness to travel occasionally
