Engineering Co-Ordinator (Technical Department)


Our Company, an exciting, innovative, and dynamic energy focused organisation is now seeking to fill the post of Engineering Coordinator for our Technical Department, based in Tralee, Co. Kerry The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling day-to-day activities that enable business processes and functions to run smoothly. The role requires exceptional organisational, time management and project tracking abilities, as well as strong communication skills. The candidate should be able to work independently with little or no supervision. The person must be well-organised and enjoy the challenges of supporting a diverse team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support the Technical Operations Team in daily activities to ensure the smooth running of the department
  • Assist in development of processes and standard document templates for: Sales Support/Project Management/Aftersales, CE Certification, Manufacturing process control, Quality Management leading to ISO certification, Product validation/verification
  • Subsequent document control for each of the above processes
  • Responsible for project document archiving and revision control
  • Ensure that the Procedures are adhered to across Engineering, Procurement, Projects, Quality
  • General administrative support to Sales/Project Management/Aftersales/R&D/Manufacturing
  • Planning/Resource management
  • Drafting O & M manuals, training, and other project related documents

  • You excel with organisation, can multitask, and don’t get easily overwhelmed
  • Minimum of 2 + years administrative experience
  • Knowledge of quality systems an advantage
  • Professional, proactive, organised approach with 'can do' attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High Proficiency in Office365
  • You’re comfortable with multi-channel collaboration, and have used tools like MS Teams and SharePoint
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
